A Compounding Partner Physicians Can Rely On
When a commercially available medication isn't the right fit for your patient, Precision Rx Compounding is the call you make. We've been partnering with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers across Alabama, Florida, and Georgia since 2014 — providing custom compounded formulations, direct pharmacist communication, and the kind of reliable turnaround that makes a real difference in patient care.
We understand that when you refer a patient to a compounding pharmacy, your reputation is on the line alongside ours. That's why we hold every preparation to the highest standards and treat every prescriber relationship as a long-term partnership, not a transaction.

Why Providers Across the Region Refer Patients to Precision Rx
There are many reasons a patient may need a compounded medication. The most common situations we support include:
- Required dose strength not available in any FDA-approved commercial product
- Patient allergy or sensitivity to an inactive ingredient in a commercial formulation
- Need for an alternative delivery route — transdermal, sublingual, topical, or suppository
- Discontinued or currently unavailable commercial medication the patient depends on
- Pediatric patient requiring a weight-based dose or a flavored liquid formulation
- Need for a combination preparation not available as a single commercial product
- Patient compliance issues related to tablet size, taste, or route of administration
Therapeutic Areas We Support
Precision Rx works with providers across a broad range of specialties. Our compounding capabilities span the following therapeutic areas:
Hormone Replacement Therapy
We compound bioidentical estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone in precise doses matched to your patient's lab results — in creams, capsules, troches, gels, and suppositories. We welcome direct communication on BHRT formulation decisions and can adjust preparations as your patient's levels evolve over time.
Pain Management
Our pain management compounding includes topical analgesic creams combining agents such as ketamine, lidocaine, gabapentin, diclofenac, and baclofen, as well as low dose naltrexone (LDN) capsules and buprenorphine formulations for patients where commercial options are insufficient.
Dermatology
We prepare custom topical preparations for acne, rosacea, hyperpigmentation, eczema, psoriasis, hair loss, and wound care — including compounded minoxidil capsules and multi-ingredient formulas in the specific vehicle and concentration you prescribe.
Women's Health
From BHRT to pelvic floor pain suppositories and creams, fertility support formulations, and menopause management preparations, we support OB/GYNs, gynecologists, and pelvic health specialists with precise, clinically appropriate compounding.
Pediatric Medicine
We prepare flavored liquids, allergen-free capsules, precise weight-based doses, and transdermal preparations for pediatric patients across all age groups. We work closely with pediatricians and family physicians to ensure every formulation is appropriate for the individual child.
ENT Compounding
Custom nasal irrigations, nasal sprays, and compounded ear drops for patients managing chronic sinusitis, post-surgical ENT care, recurrent ear infections, and other otolaryngology conditions.
Dental Compounding
Topical anesthetics, oral infection treatments, dry socket preparations, and custom mouth rinses for general dentistry, oral surgery, periodontics, and pediatric dental practices.
Veterinary Medicine
Flavored oral medications, transdermal gels, and precise weight-based formulations for veterinary patients when commercial options are unavailable, inappropriate, or refused by the animal.
Our Quality Standards
Every compound prepared at Precision Rx meets or exceeds the standards established by the United States Pharmacopeia (USP). We source all active pharmaceutical ingredients from licensed, reputable suppliers, and every preparation is reviewed and verified by a licensed compounding pharmacist before dispensing. As a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy in the state of Alabama, all of our preparations are patient-specific and require a valid prescription from a licensed provider.
